Fitness Coach | Personal Trainer | Wellness Educator
Why I Do This Work
I watched my dad become fearful of his own body. After high blood pressure, carotid artery surgery, and a quad bypass, he stopped moving entirely. His quality of life collapsed—not because of his surgeries, but because he believed he couldn’t exercise safely. That wasn’t true, and it broke my heart.
That’s when I realized something: so many people think age or health challenges mean the end of strength, confidence, and independence. They’re wrong.
I became a personal trainer and fitness coach because I’m obsessed with proving that wrong for others. I want women over 40, women in their 60s and 70s, busy professionals juggling a thousand things—I want them to feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies. I want to help you avoid the muscle loss and fear that stole my dad’s quality of life. I want to reframe what “healthy” means: not skinny, but strong. Able. Muscular.
And I’ve learned that fitness isn’t just physical—it’s mental. The strongest transformations I’ve witnessed happen when workouts become a refuge, a confidence-builder, a place where anxiety and stress dissolve for an hour. That matters as much as the strength gains.
Who I Work With
You might be a good fit if you’re:
- A woman over 40 (or any age!) who wants to build real strength
- A busy female business owner or professional with limited time
- Someone with little to no workout experience—or someone who's always hated the gym
- Someone dealing with an injury, health challenge, or significant life change
- Someone who wants workouts that feel good, not punishing
I’ve worked with women post-surgery, women preparing for major life events, working moms who’ve never lifted a weight, and seasoned athletes rediscovering their power. I specialize in meeting people exactly where they are—and then helping them move forward safely, confidently, and often faster than they thought possible.
What I Actually Do
I’m not here to yell at you or follow a one-size-fits-all template. Here’s how I work:
Assessment-Based Approach
We start by understanding you—your movement patterns, your limitations, your history, your real goals (not what you think you should want). This isn't a quick questionnaire; it's a real conversation.
Customized Workout Plans
I design programs specifically for your body, your schedule, and your goals. I blend techniques I've mastered—corrective exercise, functional fitness, barre, HIIT, LIIT (low-impact interval training)—and choose what serves you best.
Modifications Built In
Whether you're a beginner or returning to fitness, you get options. Every movement has a progression. You're never forced to do something that doesn't feel right in your body.
Holistic Coaching
Strength training is just one piece. I offer nutritional guidance (I'm a NASM-Certified Nutrition Coach), habit coaching, stress management, and real talk about what actually works for your life.
Real Connection
You're not a number in my class roster. I listen. I ask good questions. I celebrate your wins. I show up with positive energy and genuine enthusiasm for your progress.
My Background & Credentials

What this means: I approach fitness as an educator, not just a trainer. My PE degree taught me how to teach movement, break down complex skills, and help people genuinely understand their bodies—not just follow orders. My nutrition coaching and barre certification give me depth across multiple modalities.
What My Clients Actually Say
"I trained with Gigi for 3 months. She helped me find the athlete I used to be at a pace that felt comfortable but also like I was being pushed to meet goals. Even though I enjoyed the workouts and Gigi kept them varied and diverse, some of the best parts were when she would walk me through mindfulness during a stressful week. Goal setting was a big part of the training and it helped me figure out what I wanted for my life and body."
Mary Salyers Working professional & mom of two"I'm coming up to 12 months working with Gigi/Ready Renew You and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has helped me no longer hate weight training! But more importantly, all the guidance and modifications she helps with have been really worthwhile. I love that she has great positive energy and has made working with a trainer something that I look forward to."
Sophie Clowes Female in her 60s"My mom is 71 years old and needed to gain strength before knee replacement surgery. In only a few sessions with Gigi, she changed dramatically. Not only have the exercises been successful, but her diet and mental well-being have improved so much that she's doing all her homework at home and can't wait for her next session."
Katayoon Roshanai Family of surgery candidate"She set up a program including an assessment and a home program to complement the workouts I do in person. She really listened and asked great questions. She provided nutritional guidance to help me build strength. I was shocked to see how little protein I was actually eating! This has been a great experience and I feel confident I can reach my goals."
